Are you available?

“Peace to you!” (Luke 24:36)

When it comes to blessing, people are quick—everything must be fast. But are they always so? Not when obedience is required. Not when God calls. Then, they move slowly, hiding behind the garment of imperfection. When will you be ready?

The truth is this: God has His own pace. He doesn’t wait for our perfection; He looks for availability. Perfection is only God’s. You do not need to have everything before saying yes. When God calls, He equips. When God sends, He supplies. What is birthed from the will of God will be sustained by His provision. He will always meet all your needs, not all your wishes.

Did Jesus not say in Matthew 6:31-33, “… do not worry…For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”?

Today, give thanks to God for all He allows in your life. When He speaks to you, do not harden your heart. Silence the fear within you and in reverence to God, pray, “Let it be according to Your will, O Lord.” And you will begin to see His hand—holding you, guiding you. “Fear not,” God said, “for I am with you, even to the end of the earth.” (Isaiah 41:10)
